Coastal Family was a wonderful experience for my husband. We were in town on vacation and he got something in his eye while on the beach. Dr. Wilder and her staff went above and beyond for us when my husband had a medical emergency during our vacation. We were 15 hours from home, visiting Orange Beach, when he started to experience (what we thought was pink eye) in the eye that he has a cornea transplant in. Dr. Wilder took excellent care of him and saw to it throughout our vacation that he was seen daily to assure improvement! Oh ya…my husband also lost his prescription eye glasses in the ocean (on this same vacation 🤪) and they made him new ones in less than 8 hours! On vacation in Orange Beach, AL when my wife lost her glasses due to large rogue wave on beach knocking her over and tumbling her. Called coastal family eye care. Great experience,  they were able to use my wife's current prescription and create a new pair of glasses in less than an hour. Super friendly staff, Jennifer took her time and checked and measured and double checked and measured and then went and ground new lenses in no time. On vacation from Minnesota been having a lot of problems with my left eye. Walked in and they all greeted me , I asked if some how some way for someone to look at it . Well , they sure did ( the next morning) Dr. Clare Wilder gave me the most thorough exam gave me options and wrote a prescription for the option I choose! I retired five years ago and have seen five different eye doctors since moving to Perdido, but my search is now over. Sydney and the other ladies were very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Wilder did a thorough exam and explained things clearly that were glossed over by other professionals. I have the best prescription I’ve had since I hit the dreaded “reading glasses” age and now I feel free to leave the house without readers! Dr. Wilder also made sure I was stocked up for an upcoming trip so I can enjoy my new vision.  The difference between this office and a franchised chain is night and day.
