Kasey McGuyre CPO, ALDO

Certified Paraoptometric

Kasey has more than 8 years of experience in the world of Optometry. Kasey handles many different roles in the practice. Most often Kasey works as Dr. Wilder’s assistant gathering your medical history and pre-testing information as well as any advanced testing as needed. Kasey also loves to work in the optical department. Kasey is currently an apprentice to become a licensed optician and she has been CPO certified since 2016. She strives to keep up with all the new fashions and styles that will fit everyone’s needs for frame selections. She will make sure your time in the office is efficient & makes everyone feel comfortable and cared for.

​​​​​​​Away from the office, Kasey loves to spend time with her dog Marlee and her 8-year-old son, Brodie. They really enjoy going on adventures & exploring new trails together. Another favorite pastime is heading to the beach with friends to catch a tan.

Lurleen Tate-Smith ABOC, NCLEC

Licensed Optician

Lurleen is the newest team member to join the staff at Coastal Family Eyecare. She has worked in the optical industry for 20 years in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and Alabama. She is a Licensed Optician and is certified with the American Board of Opticianry as well as the National Contact Lens Examiners. Lurleen is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and will assist you with ordering the perfect products to meet your optical needs. When Lurleen is not working she is enjoying the amazing beaches of Pensacola, Orange Beach, and Gulf Shores with her husband, Roger, and their beautiful Siberian Husky, Czar Nikolai. She is stepmom to Chris, Ethan, and Eric, and Nanna to Roger's four amazing grandchildren. Lurleen loves to bake cookies during the holidays and make sweet homemade fudges, a tradition handed down to her from her beloved mother. She hopes to make your optical experience just as sweet when you stop in at Coastal Family Eyecare.

Virginia Ford, CPO AKA “Ginny”

Ginny has over 25 years of experience in optometry from working in her family's practice where both her father and brother are optometrists. Ginny is your first point of contact when you call or enter the office. Her southern hospitality will be obvious as she makes everyone feel welcome. Her main priority is to manage the schedule so that there is little wait time which means more valuable time with the doctor. She will be happy to answer any questions regarding the insurance benefits that you have. Ginny’s career in optometry has given her the knowledge to help with every aspect of the practice and she is happy to assist with any concerns or questions you have. Ginny loves spending time with her family and friends. She has 2 children, Trace (23) and Preston (19). There's nothing she enjoys more in life than a day spent at the beach, except maybe her daily dose of coffee.

Moira

Insurance Billing/Accounts Receivable

Moira has been working at Coastal Family Eyecare since the summer Dr. Wilder opened her first location. She works remotely to process insurance payments and analyze patient accounts. Outside of work, she loves hiking with her family, including her dog.
